Hi Reader, In this weekly edition of my PURPOSEFUL ENTREPRENEUR Newsletter, I get a little personal about my reconnection with my roots... I was born in India, and migrated to the US at age 23, with no money. I had my Bachelor's degree from Delhi University and was a young Chartered Accountant (a really complex version of a CPA!), none of which meant anything in the US. They did not even recognize my Bachelor's degree! That was 1979. I climbed many corporate ladders, from the bottom all the way to being a senior Wall Street executive right up until 2005. My employer, Morgan Stanley, sent me to India to set up the firm back in 1994-95! And when I cringed -- I knew nothing about India's ecosystem, and I had barely even traveled to India in 16 years -- they told me I was their only choice!
